This is a 4 week class, meeting Fridays, April 26th, May 3rd, 10th & 17th.
“A comprehensive course designed for the novice knitter. This course will teach you all basic skills needed to knit simple projects. Learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. Also learn to maintain gauge, join seams, correct mistakes, add yarn, sew in ends, as well as basic increasing and decreasing. Numerous handouts and easy patterns are provided. SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS*:
- 1 skein solid
- Smooth worsted weight yarn (such as Red Heart Super Saver or Vanna’s Choice)
- Size 8 or 9 knitting needles
- 10 in. long -scissors
- Tape measure
- Yarn needle
- 1 size G or H crochet hook
- Tip protectors (optional)
- Pen and paper.
