“Amazing Books and Crafts” (ABC) Club is a class that starts with reading an amazing book. After the book, crafters will create a craft that goes along with the theme of the book. These are crafts designed for our young crafters. In this class we will read the book How to be a Superhero by Sue Flies. After reading the book each crafter will create their own superhero. Bring your crafting super power for this super hero adventure.
**Registration includes all the supplies to make the craft & each child gets their own book to take home!
**Ages: 6-8 years old
Meet the teacher!
My name is Liz Polivka. I was born and raised here in Omaha, Nebraska, and currently live in Millard with my two fur babies. For the last 15 years I have been an alternative curriculum special education teacher for a local school district. Next year, I will be teaching 5th grade. I have worked with a variety of students Kindergarten through 6th grade with a variety of needs. My heart has always been and always will be for kids. I love to see their enjoyment from doing and learning something new. That is what has brought me to Mangelsen’s this summer. I am looking forward to crafting with some amazing young crafters!
