This two part class takes place Monday, November 11th and Monday, November 18th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
During night one of our Basics in Cake Decorating class, your instructor Carly will share her expertise on baking, frosting, and filling. Students will hear tips and tricks and learn what tools are necessary for successful decorating. This class includes demonstrations on how to level, cut, fill and frost a pre-made cake. Students will have hands-on experience with crumb-coating and final icing. All supplies are provided for class one. Students will go home with tools as well as their very own frosted cake.
Class two requires minimal supplies:
- Pre-made cake
- Large Batch of Frosting (recipe provided)
- Cake Board
- Box (for transporting)
- Tools from Class One (Spatula, Scraper & Decorating Kit)
In class two, students learn how to fill a piping bag, use a coupler, and exchange tips. Each student will have the opportunity to experiment with various decorating techniques including rosettes, roses, shell borders, dots, handwriting and more. The delicious final project is their masterpiece to take home and eat or share!
Students receive a 15% Discount on a any items purchased during the duration of class. Please present your paid class receipt to your cashier upon checkout.
