“Amazing Books and Crafts” (ABC) Club | Ages 5-8
(ABC) Club starts with reading an amazing book that each child will get to take home. After the book, crafters will create a craft that goes along with the theme of the book.
Book: “Dinosaurs”
Craft: Create your own Dinosaur
Dinosaurs are beyond fun to explore! Come explore with us as we read about the world of dinosaurs, and then create our own. Crafters will get to design different types of mediums to create their dinosaurs.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: 
My name is Liz Polivka. I was born and raised here in Omaha, Nebraska, and currently live in Millard with my two fur babies. This is my third summer getting to work with amazing young crafters here at Mangelsen’s. For the last 17 years I have worked as a teacher in a local school district teaching alternative curriculum special education and 5th grade. I have worked with a variety of students ages kindergarten through sixth grade with a variety of needs. The past two years I have also been working with the Papillion Creative Arts Academy both teaching and assisting in a variety of classes with creative students of all ages. My heart has always been and always will be for kids. I love to see their enjoyment from doing and learning something new. That is what brought me to Mangelsen’s, and I look forward to crafting with some amazing young crafters!
