“Explorers” (EC) Club | Ages 6-9
EC is for crafters who want to explore crafts with a few steps, but easier than our IC group.
Craft: Geometric Canvas Art
In this class crafters will design a geometric shape canvas.The fun starts by creating shapes that you want to paint! Crafters will then get to pick from a variety of different colors to paint in their shapes! Once the paint is dry, the amazing reveal happens! Come learn the tricks of the trade and create your own unique canvas art!
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: 
My name is Liz Polivka. I was born and raised here in Omaha, Nebraska, and currently live in Millard with my two fur babies. This is my third summer getting to work with amazing young crafters here at Mangelsen’s. For the last 17 years I have worked as a teacher in a local school district teaching alternative curriculum special education and 5th grade. I have worked with a variety of students ages kindergarten through sixth grade with a variety of needs. The past two years I have also been working with the Papillion Creative Arts Academy both teaching and assisting in a variety of classes with creative students of all ages. My heart has always been and always will be for kids. I love to see their enjoyment from doing and learning something new. That is what brought me to Mangelsen’s, and I look forward to crafting with some amazing young crafters!
